Your keys, your ledger account

Link Xaman, create self-custody or practice wallets, send XRP.

Why this matters

An XRPL account is a public address whose transactions can only be authorised by its private key. Whoever holds the key holds the asset — so where the key lives is the whole custody question.

What happens on the XRP Ledger

Linking a Xaman wallet signs a zero-value SignIn payload on your phone; the platform only ever stores the resulting address. A practice wallet is created on the testnet faucet and funded with test XRP that has no value.

  • AccountRoot
  • SignIn payload (Xaman)
  • Payment
  • Testnet faucet

The LiquidLabs advantage

Four custody models on one screen — from phone-held keys to provider MPC — each labelled with who holds the key and whether KYC applies. Nothing pretends to be self-custody when it is not.

Services this module depends on

  • Xaman (XUMM) API — on-device signing and push notifications for linked wallets required
  • AWS Secrets Manager — platform-custody seeds (only if that custody model is offered) optional

Try it

  1. Create a testnet practice wallet
  2. Copy its address
  3. Look it up on the testnet explorer
